This May, Homepolish and Lorla Studio invited us to participate in Housing Work’s Design on a Dime, a yearly benefit event that challenges interior designers to create unique room vignettes curated with donated merchandise from well-known home decor brands and artists.
Helping a company like Housing Works raise funds to support their mission to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS was a true honor. Although we have a variety of out-of-the-box pieces at the ready, we knew we wanted to design something special—one of a kind—for this event.
In the end we settled on a piece we’re calling “The Monstera.” She helped raise over $1.2 million for the cause and we couldn’t be more proud.
